Job Responsibilities

·       Generating new packaging of products in response to briefs.

·       Work with assembly line workers to develop an efficient packaging process.

·       Ensure to follow to use packaging as customer defined packaging standards.

·       Ensuring that packaging of products meet set requirements and specifications.

·       Producing samples to try out different materials and designs.

·       Liaising with Production, Procurement, Stores, QC staff.

·       Identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality.

·       Work in a quick and efficient manner, and strive to consistently increase productivity.

·       Running trials to check packaging for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions.

·       Controlling production and quality standards, including reporting packaging that doesn't meet quality standards.

·       Evaluating, selecting and negotiating with suppliers.

·       Identifying and choosing products from suppliers.

·       Writing reports.

·       Keeping up to date with technological innovations.

·       Maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness in the facility, especially the packaging and trimming areas.

·       Responsible for regular maintenance and cleaning of all packaging equipment.

·       Address weaknesses or issues in the packaging process.

·       Performs other duties as assigned.

·       Create his own backup for vacations /holidays.

·       Open to within department or inter-department Cross Training. 

Minimum Qualification & Experience

. High school diploma or 3 Years Diploma in technical education.

·       High School Diploma or equivalent.

·       2~3 years’ experience in the similar industry preferred.
